Grade 9 Literature, Writing and Grammar Curriculum Map

This curriculum map is designed for a traditional 36-week school year where classes meet 5 days a week, but you can easily adjust to fit your situation.

Our curriculum is designed with a guiding essential question for the year, with each unit in the curriculum also having its own essential question that ties back to the main question for the year. 

Each unit has suggested anchor texts that pair well with the essential questions. 

Note: We are currently building out the English Teacher Vault during the summer and fall of 2024 and it will soon have all the units listed in this curriculum and all the resources for each unit. 

This means that when you join the English Teacher Vault you will have access to all the resources you need to teach 9th grade English and Language Arts.
